Are you a person who grew up in a challenging home environment and work in social services investigating young people or assessing family foster care? We are now looking for you to work as a Coach Program Coordinator with us at Maskrosbarn! About Maskrosbarn Maskrosbarn is a child rights organization that works to improve living conditions for young people with parents who have substance abuse issues, mental health conditions, or who subject them to violence. Maskrosbarn consists of two operational areas – support services and advocacy work. Over the years, we have met thousands of children and have developed several types of support programs, lectures, training, and services based on children's wishes and needs. We collaborate with municipalities, regions, authorities, and other actors who work with our target group throughout Sweden. We continuously work to highlight issues around children's right to support and better collaboration in society. We have approximately 40 employees at offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö, and around 250 engaged members throughout the country. About the Position The Coach Program is individual support for young people approved through social services. Maskrosbarn has run the Coach Program since 2013 and the service has been used by around 40 municipalities and city districts. Coaches and youth meet once a week for up to three years, combining activities with work using method materials. Support is available in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö. Maskrosbarn handles the entire process from recruiting coaches, training, matching, and ongoing supervision of coaches. The position includes many different tasks where you will work administratively, with social services, and provide supervision to coaches. Under the leadership of the Coach Program Manager and together with the rest of the coach team, you will work with recruiting and training coaches, maintain close contact with the young people's social workers, supervise coaches, and work on sales and engagement with social services. The work does not involve direct support work with young people, but primarily through the coaches. Read more about the Coach Program here: https://maskrosbarn.org/for-vuxna/coachprogrammet/ This is a parental leave replacement position on a full-time basis for 12 months. Possible extension may be available. Start date in January by agreement. The position is based in Stockholm, Hammarby sjöstad. Some possibility for remote work is available by agreement and when the operation permits. Employment requires an excerpt from the police criminal record (work with children outside school and childcare). Who Are You? We believe you are warm, unpretentious, and comfortable working in a flexible manner. You are ready to take the step from direct support work to helping others support young people. You have an easy time building relationships with and earning the trust of young people and colleagues. You are administratively strong, good at managing multiple parallel processes, and enjoy switching between complex and simpler tasks. We believe you want to be an active part of civil society and part of a generous and engaged workplace. We are looking for someone who: Has a social work degree Has at least two years of recent work experience from social services, within reception/investigation of youth/family foster care assessment Has knowledge of agreements, interventions, and processes from social services Has experience writing and handling reports of concern Has good Swedish language skills in speech and writing Identifies yourself as someone who grew up in a challenging home environment; you grew up with a parent who has a substance abuse issue, mental health condition, or experienced violence from a parent. This is because we work with identification as part of our method. It is a merit if you have experience in supervisory roles with colleagues and if you have experience in conversations with young people. Application Welcome to submit your application by September 21, 2026. Applications are made through our recruitment system where we want you to attach a CV and cover letter (attach cover letter under "Other Documents"). In your cover letter, we would like you to answer the following questions: Briefly describe your childhood and how you have processed your childhood experiences?
