Would you like to make a real difference for people who are far from the labor market? As a coach with us in the Avesta Collaboration Team, you'll have meaningful, developmental, and varied work where you work together with the individual to create hope for the future, strengthen resources, and find sustainable ways forward. We are constantly developing our workplace and our way of working to meet the needs that arise. In your work tasks, it is of course natural to actively participate in our development work both internally and externally, to best create conditions for people who need coordinated support from us.
Avesta Collaboration Team is a jointly owned operation within the Southern Dalarna Coordination Association, where the parties involved are: Avesta Municipality, Region Dalarna, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. You will be employed by Avesta Municipality and belong to the Labor Market Unit.
As a coach, you are part of a team that together drives and develops an operation where the individual's needs and possibilities are at the center. You work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in the team, staff in other municipal operations, and other owners (Region Dalarna, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency), as well as employers and other relevant contacts for the individual.
In the role, you will, among other things:
• Work together with the participant to identify goals, resources, and strengths.
• Support and coach participants through a solution-focused approach and a motivating way of working.
• Coordinate and follow up work training positions within both private and municipal operations.
• Lead group activities and conduct various types of group interventions.
• Receive study visits to inform prospective new participants and referrers about the operation.
• Book and conduct study visits to workplaces.
• Conduct individual conversations focused on the path to work or studies.
• Contribute to operation development together with colleagues.
This is a role for you who enjoys having many contact points, who is motivated by seeing people grow, and who wants to contribute to developing the operation's work forward. We expect you to have a strong interest in working with people who are far from the labor market. You will receive continuous supervision and further training based on a solution-focused perspective.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
• A relevant higher education degree, for example in behavioral sciences, social work, or equivalent education.
• Previous experience coaching participants.
• Class B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language.
• Good computer skills and good knowledge of the Office package.
Education in solution-focused working methods and experience with coaching and motivating work based on a solution-focused approach is meriting.
You are a confident and insightful person who can distinguish between the professional and the personal. You work independently, take responsibility, and drive your tasks forward in a structured way. You adapt easily to change and see opportunities in new situations. In interactions with others, you are social, relationship-building, and enjoy building and maintaining contacts. At the same time, you have a calm and service-oriented approach and always strive to coach the participant to find their own solution.
Do you recognize yourself in this description and want to help strengthen people on their path to the labor market? Then we hope you will submit your application – we look forward to hearing from you!
