* Montico is now recruiting a CNC operator specializing in turning and milling for an established and growing industrial company in Laxå. Here you will have the opportunity to work with advanced machining in a modern machine shop and become part of a skilled team with a strong focus on quality and precision. About the Position As a CNC operator, you will work with both turning and milling of complex components in steel, aluminum, stainless steel, copper, and brass. You will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines and ensure that production meets the correct quality standards according to drawings and specifications. The machine park is modern with control systems mainly Okuma on the turning side and Heidenhain on the milling side. Measurement and quality control are a natural part of the daily work. The position is located during daytime hours, but two-shift work may occur if needed. You will be employed by Montico and work as a consultant at the customer company. The assignment is long-term and for the right person there are good opportunities for direct employment with the customer company. Job Description In this role you will, among other things: - Set up and operate CNC machines for turning and milling. - Monitor production and ensure correct quality. - Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. - Perform measurements and quality control. - Work with varying components and materials. - Contribute to efficient and quality-focused production. We Are Looking for You We are looking for someone with experience in CNC machining who is comfortable in a workshop environment. You have a good understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and quality work, and you enjoy taking responsibility for your work. We would like to see that you: - Have experience with CNC turning and/or CNC milling. - Can read and interpret technical drawings. - Have experience with measuring techniques and quality control. - Have a forklift certificate and traverse training. - Have a B driver's license and access to a car. - Are thorough, responsible, and quality-conscious. - Have a technical interest and want to continue developing within CNC. Experience with Okuma and/or Heidenhain-controlled machines is a merit.
