Are you detail-oriented, technically interested, and comfortable working in the manufacturing industry? Lernia is now seeking CNC operators for an assignment with our client in the Malmö area.
About the Position
As a CNC operator, you will work manufacturing metal parts using CNC-controlled machines. You will be an important part of production and will be responsible for operating the machines in a safe, efficient, and quality-conscious manner.
The work can involve both independent and team-oriented tasks. You will work from drawings, work instructions, and production plans, and you will ensure that manufactured parts meet the correct quality and measurements.
The assignment may be scheduled for different work shifts, for example continuous 2-shift (including weekends), 3-shift, and possibly permanent night shift. The position is located in Malmö and surrounding area.
Work Tasks
As a CNC operator, you will work with:
Operating CNC-controlled lathes and milling machines
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
Performing tool changes and minor machine adjustments
Measuring and inspecting parts using various measuring tools
Performing quality checks and documentation
Monitoring machines and production processes
Handling materials and finished products
Identifying and reporting deviations or production disruptions
Performing minor maintenance and cleaning of machine equipment
Following safety procedures, work environment requirements, and quality standards

Requirements for the Position
High school education with industrial or technical focus, or equivalent work experience
A few years of experience as a CNC operator or in the machine shop industry
Knowledge of blueprint reading and measurement techniques
Ability to communicate in Swedish in speech and writing
Ability to work independently and in a team
Experience handling large parts
Traverskort
Truckkort
It is also advantageous if you have a driver's license.
