CNC Operator

Fixit TMV AB was founded in 1984 and is an engineering company located in Tandsbyn, a few miles south of Östersund. The company has approximately 15 employees. Are you a meticulous and problem-solving person with experience in CNC machining? Then this could be the position for you! About the position: As a CNC Operator, your main work will consist of manufacturing on CNC-controlled machines with high technical standards. Today they have 16 CNC-controlled machining machines at their disposal, ranging from lathes to 4-axis multi-operation machines. You will program and monitor the machines to ensure that components are manufactured with the correct shape and dimensions. The work tasks include reading drawings and turning on short and medium-sized production runs, as well as some programming and setup work if you have such skills. Since work also occurs on manual machines, such as drilling and manual milling, you should be comfortable with this. Troubleshooting and problem-solving as well as other work tasks may occur. Qualifications: We are looking for someone with a few years of professional experience in the field with good knowledge of turning, milling, and machine programming (preferably Okuma control systems) with the ability to independently set up your jobs.
