Job Responsibilities
As a CNC operator, you work from the customer's drawings and have the opportunity to create your own programs. You control the setup when you perform the job (clamping and tool selection) and you are responsible for the quality of what you produce (you measure what you produce and release it for the next step in the process).
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Can program and start jobs based on drawings.
- Proficient in reading drawings.
- Able to handle measuring equipment and have a feel for quality.
- Flexible and solution-oriented.
- Enjoy working with small batches and re-rigging.
- Team player.
- Organized and tidy.
