Be part of the movement – and play your part. About the Job As a Claims Manager at DFDS, you'll have a key role in our Logistics Division in Sweden. You'll be responsible for leading and developing the management of claims and complaint matters with a focus on structure, quality, cost control, and business efficiency. The role combines operational responsibility with development and improvement work. This means you'll handle claims and damage cases yourself while also working to develop processes, improve follow-up, and create an efficient and sustainable claims management system for the business. You'll have many points of contact and work closely with operations, finance, contract managers, suppliers, transporters, and insurance partners. Over time, there's also an opportunity to further develop the function and lead a small team.* Examples of responsibility areas: Own and develop DFDS' handling of claims and damage cases Manage and follow up on transport and cargo damage Ensure cost-effective and business-appropriate claims handling Develop processes, methods, analysis, and reporting Drive damage prevention and risk management initiatives Collaborate with operations, suppliers, and insurance partners About You: We believe that the strongest teams are built on diversity and inclusion. We also believe you: have experience in claims or damage management, preferably in transport or logistics are business-driven and confident in making decisions based on risk, cost, and business value have the ability to see both details and the bigger picture enthusiastically take on a role with many points of contact and a fast pace are proactive and motivated to develop, improve, and deliver results communicate well and build trusting relationships, both internally and externally Leadership experience is a plus, but what matters most is that you have the drive and ambition to take responsibility, create structure, and help develop the function long-term.
