Kuldīgas novada pašvaldība invites you to join our civil protection team! We are looking for a colleague who will not only ensure the coordination of civil protection processes, but will also be responsible for administrative matters in the municipality's daily operations. Kuldīgas novada pašvaldība extends the application deadline for the position of Civil Protection Specialist at the Administrative Department of Kuldīgas novada pašvaldība for an indefinite period. We offer: Full-time responsible, interesting and dynamic work Social guarantees Opportunities for professional development Responsive colleagues and supervisors Health insurance after six months of work Monthly salary of 1510,00 EUR per month before taxes Main job responsibilities: Organize civil protection, occupational safety and fire safety measures in the municipality Ensure coordination of matters within the municipality's competence as defined by the Civil Protection and Disaster Management Law Develop internal regulatory acts in the field of civil protection Coordinate the implementation of civil protection measures in the municipality's administrative territory Ensure compliance of buildings with fire safety requirements and consult with institution employees on the use of fire safety equipment Maintain the municipality administration's vehicle fleet and coordinate the fleet throughout Kuldīgas novads Supervise and organize the maintenance of administrative buildings owned by the municipality We expect from candidates: Higher education (preferably in engineering) Work experience in organizing and performing administrative work, occupational safety and civil protection for at least 1 year Good knowledge of civil protection regulatory acts Experience in developing internal regulatory acts Collaboration and communication skills Analytical thinking, initiative, high sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team Good skills in working with MS Office applications Preference for candidates with skills in working with ArcGIS software Category B driver's license Willingness and desire to learn Latvian language knowledge level C1 Candidates must submit: Motivation letter (up to one A4 page in typewritten form, including information about compliance with the stated requirements) A brief description of life and work experience (CV) Copies of documents confirming education Application deadline: August 3, 2026 (inclusive) Please submit documents to the Reception and Information Center of Kuldīgas novada pašvaldība (Baznīcas Street 1, Kuldīga) or send documents signed with a secure electronic signature to: [email protected].
