Aizkraukles Municipality (Reg. No. 90000074812) announces an open position for a Civil Defense Specialist at Aizkraukles Municipality Job Type: Permanent employment contract, 1 position Number of Vacancies: 1 Monthly Salary - €1,604 Profession Code - 2149 39 Application Deadline: July 26, 2026 Key Job Responsibilities: Monitor the implementation and execution of the Civil Defense (CD) plan. Develop internal regulatory acts in the field of civil defense. Systematically inspect municipal facilities, including critical infrastructure and shelters (bomb shelters, refuge areas), supervising CD plan compliance on-site. Represent the municipality in organizations and institutions in the field of civil defense; coordinate cooperation with VUGD, Emergency Medical Services, State Police, National Armed Forces, and other institutions. Maintain an inventory of resources necessary for civil defense activities and regularly update it. Respond promptly and organize information flow, mobilizing necessary resources and teams to manage dangerous emergency situations in Aizkraukles Municipality territory. Requirements for Applicants: Higher education. Desirable experience in internal security or defense sectors. Knowledge of civil defense legislation, supervision, and control measures.
