About the Job
This is a project-based position with assignments based on the new social services law. The law requires that individuals receiving financial assistance be provided opportunities for activities that increase social participation, structure in daily life, and meaning. As a next step, these activities can lead to integration in society and employment. The target group may need support in strengthening their language skills.
The position involves conducting and leading study circles in the areas of health and civic orientation. Work hours are Mondays and Wednesdays, working with two groups during each work day.
Examples of study circle content:
• Civic-oriented themes and current affairs knowledge
• Health-promoting activities, such as walks, movement, or discussions about health and lifestyle
• Motivation-boosting activities focused on future, working life, and studies
• Support in building daily routines, responsibility, and habits
• Simple cultural activities and study visits that broaden perspectives and create meaning
• Language training in everyday contexts
For other participants, the activities may also include:
• Rebuilding study motivation and study habits
• Inspiration meetings about occupations, education, and future choices
• Group activities focusing on self-esteem, social skills, and responsibility
• Guidance activities preparing for internships, education, or other next steps
• Strengthening measures that counteract passivity, isolation, and helplessness
The work is independent, and you are responsible for planning your workday.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who:
• Is skilled at building relationships with people of different ages and from different cultures.
• Is experienced in leading people in groups.
• Has expertise in health and civic orientation.
• Is accustomed to independent work and has strong ability to prioritize and structure your tasks.
• Expresses yourself well in speech and writing.
• Has a driver's license and access to a car.
• Is empathetic with high social competence.
Practical Information
The position is a fixed-term employment during the project period, with an employment rate of 40–60 %. There may be opportunity for extended hours.
Work location: Aneby.
Start date: As soon as possible.
