Here you'll combine strategy, technology, and business in a role where you build long-term foundations for innovation, development, and truly great user experiences. What will you do? As Chief Platform Owner, you're responsible for the vision, strategy, and direction of Svenska Spel's platform. Our platform consists of several shared capabilities and tools including GitHub, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Backstage, AI, data, and developer experience. You'll drive the platform according to platform as a product principles where user experience, self-service, adoption, and developer productivity are central. This role is just as much about people and change management as it is about technology. You'll, among other things: Set strategic direction and roadmap for our platform Ensure high security, robustness, and availability in business-critical environments Create the right conditions for AI, data, and modern developer experiences Work closely with architects, product owners, and development teams to drive long-term technical capabilities Build understanding, engagement, and alignment around the platform's value across the organization Communicate complex technology in a clear and inspiring way Track adoption, stability, and business value through relevant KPIs You'll become an important bridge between technology and business, focused on creating the right conditions for the entire organization to develop quickly, securely, and sustainably. You're good at setting direction, building engagement, and getting different parts of the organization to work toward the same goals. To succeed in this role, we believe you have: Experience with platforms, product development, or technical ecosystems Worked strategically with vision, roadmap, and long-term technical direction A solid understanding of cloud, DevOps, systems architecture, and modern platforms Experience with, for example, GitHub, GCP, Kubernetes, Backstage, or similar Understanding of security, scalability, and high availability in business-critical environments The ability to create business value through AI, data, and automation Strong communication skills and experience driving collaboration and change across multiple teams and areas It's a plus if you have experience with platform as a product and platform engineering.
