About the Workplace
Tegnér Health Center provides primary care under a patient choice agreement.
Tegnér Health Center is operated by 4 co-owners who also work as family physicians at the center. In addition to these, there are 3 specialized physicians, 7 resident physicians (ST), and Tegnér Health Center is also the region's first training center for trainee physicians (BT), currently with 4 BT physicians in service. We operate a variety of clinics: Diabetes, asthma/COPD, dementia, incontinence, as well as services provided by a social worker, psychologist, dietitian, physical therapist, occupational therapists, child health clinic (BVC), maternal health clinic (MHV), and travel vaccinations. We have 3 administrative staff, with one position currently being vacated. The health center has approximately 12,000 registered patients. We were the first health center in the region to receive a patient list cap, which creates a good work environment where we can plan the future direction of our clinic.
The co-owners highly value staff engagement in developing both patient care and operations, which we actively work toward.
