We're looking for someone who wants to lead the evening shift and has solid experience managing staff in a warehouse and logistics environment. The role is operational and hands-on, meaning you lead the work on-site in daily operations. You thrive being close to your team members, monitoring workflows in real-time, and creating the conditions for the shift to run effectively, safely, and with high quality. About the Role As Shift Manager, you are responsible for daily warehouse operations during your shift. This means ensuring smooth goods flow, that the right resources are in place, and that your team members have the best conditions to succeed. You lead a team of approximately 15 people and play an important role in creating structure, clarity, and engagement in daily work. The role requires a solid understanding of warehouse and logistics operations and comfort handling personnel matters, occupational health and safety issues, and collaboration with safety representatives and unions. Evening shift hours are 13:00-22:00. The Shift Manager's primary responsibilities include: Warehouse and Logistics – Ensure goods flow efficiently and that goods are handled and delivered as planned. Work on warehouse optimization and monitor key metrics/KPIs. Leadership & Personnel Management – Lead, motivate, and develop your team. Manage staffing, onboarding, training, and workplace environment. Personnel Matters & Occupational Health – Handle rehabilitation processes and workplace health issues. Create a safe, secure, and pleasant workplace in collaboration with the safety organization and local union. Efficiency & Planning – Plan and allocate resources during the shift to ensure high productivity, quality, and stable flow throughout the evening. Problem-Solving & Development – Identify areas for improvement, drive change initiatives, and ensure that procedures are followed, developed, and work in practice. We're Looking for Someone Who Has several years of experience leading a large warehouse or logistics team, with responsibility for both operations and personnel. Thrives in an operational leadership role where you are present in daily operations and lead work on-site. Is comfortable handling various types of personnel matters and is experienced in collaborating with safety representatives and unions. Communicates fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. Creates structure and order for yourself and your team. Is interested in people and communication, and enjoys collaborating across department boundaries. You create engagement and bring your team along. Has good system skills, preferably from SAP or another warehouse or business system. It is a plus if you have experience leading through change and if you have worked in the food, fresh products, or temperature-controlled logistics sectors.
