The Research and Macroeconomic Scenarios Unit (FOM) is one of three units in the Forecasting Division at Konjunkturinstitutet. The unit currently has five employees. The unit's main tasks are applied research, method and model development, and medium-term analyses in areas related to the Forecasting Division's activities. FOM is responsible for the general equilibrium model SELMA, which is used for analysis and scenarios for the Swedish economy. 1 position(s). DUTIES Your main responsibilities are to lead, plan, and participate in the unit's work together with your colleagues. You will also contribute to the authority's strategic work, as you will be part of Konjunkturinstitutet's management group. As head of FOM, you will also lead investigative assignments. At Konjunkturinstitutet, we expect you as a manager to be a good leader and employer representative. As a manager, you should also have extensive knowledge of your area of responsibility to develop and ensure the quality of the unit's output and represent the authority externally. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who • Holds a doctoral degree in economics. • Has the ability and willingness to lead work with complex macroeconomic models. • Has good insights into the Swedish economy and an interest in macroeconomic forecasting and research. • Expresses yourself clearly, precisely, and pedagogically in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. • Has experience leading others, for example as a manager or project leader. • Has an interest in developing and inspiring your colleagues. • Is driven and initiative-taking with good collaborative skills. It is advantageous if you have experience with DSGE model analysis in a policy institution. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. Salary form: Monthly salary.
