The administration's management team includes support functions within the administration. We work together with the rest of the organization to provide operations with the best possible conditions to meet citizens' needs. The management team is responsible for the administration's HR, economics, communications, IT, political processes, case management, facility strategy, quality work, and follow-up. The management team is also responsible for cultural environment, cultural strategic issues, the Iron Age village Hogslaby, association subsidies, creative support, events, and Botkyrka's cultural public access rights.
The Position and Your Responsibilities
We are continuing our development work and are seeking a manager for the economics unit, which was recently established. You will be involved in developing and managing the process for the entire economics area. You need to be agile while maintaining structure. As a unit manager at the administration-wide level, you will sit on the deputy director's management team and focus on strategic and development-oriented work within the economics area, while also being part of developing other administration-wide processes and operations. You will also lead your own unit consisting of a controller, economics assistant, accounting economist, two association consultants, and a facility strategist.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead and inspire your employees and develop their inherent potential
• Take responsibility for the financial management process and budget process while creating the best conditions for operations to work with economics-related issues
• Lead, plan, and drive development work within the Culture and Recreation Administration's economics function
• Through the facility strategist, take responsibility for the administration's facility provision
• Through the association consultants, contribute to Botkyrka being an association-friendly municipality with good structure and follow-up of association subsidies
• Develop and build relationships both within the administration and throughout the municipality

Furthermore, you are a secure leader and have the ability to build trust with both your employees and throughout the organization. You need to be confident in leading specialists and able to support them in their priorities and development.
Requirements: We are looking for you with a degree in economics with a focus on accounting, finance, or another degree with a focus relevant to the content of the position.
Furthermore, we see that:
You have experience working with economics at management level
You are recognized as excellent at collaboration and believe that prestige is a waste of time
You have successfully led employees before and are confident as a manager
You express yourself fluently in speech and writing in Swedish
Meritorious: It is highly meritorious if you have experience from a politically led organization, preferably from the municipal sector. However, the most important thing is your personal suitability.
