Here, we are responsible for the entire chain – from sales and design to construction, production, and delivery. Now we are strengthening the organization with a new strategic key role. We are seeking a Head of Project Management who wants to build up and develop our project organization and create a world-class delivery function. This is not a maintenance role. It is an opportunity to create a modern project organization where business, design, production, and assembly collaborate throughout the project lifecycle. You will lead the team in refining structures, develop working methods, and ensure that our projects are executed with high quality, strong profitability, and satisfied customers. About the Assignment You will have overall responsibility for the business area's project organization and lead delivery from contracted business to delivery or completed framework. The role is equally about business and leadership as it is about project management. You will build a dedicated project management function, develop working methods and processes, and ensure that our projects are executed efficiently, structurally, and with clear commercial focus. At the same time, you are an accessible leader who is present in the operations, with customers, and on construction sites. You report to Marina Gasparius, Business Area Manager Prefab, and become an important part of the business area's management team. Your Main Areas of Responsibility You will, among other things: Be responsible for Prefab's project portfolio results and forecasts Own the project management process and be responsible for developing processes, structures, and follow-up methodologies Ensure well-functioning project management and risk management Lead, coach, and develop project managers Ensure that projects are delivered with the right quality, schedule, and profitability Participate in early business phases to ensure feasible and profitable projects Build close collaboration between sales, design, production, and assembly Personally drive a smaller number of strategically important projects Who Are You? You are an experienced leader with a strong business drive and have likely worked in a project-intensive operation where delivery, economics, and customer relations were crucial to success. You thrive in complex environments where many parts must work together and are motivated by creating structure, developing people, and building organizations. You have clear leadership, are confident in your decisions, and have the ability to build trust both internally and externally. You see opportunities where others see challenges and are driven to develop both operations and people. We Believe You Have Academic education in construction, engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent Several years of experience leading complex projects with responsibility for results and profitability Experience in management or leadership roles with personnel responsibility Good commercial understanding and experience working with contracts, calculations, and employer's requirements Experience from construction, prefab, infrastructure, or other project-intensive industrial operations Documented experience in change management and operational development Ability to create engagement and build strong teams Why Thomas Betong?
