About the Role
Would you like to lead an operation that is critical to ensuring our electricity distribution functions safely and stably – around the clock? As OT Network Manager, you get to combine technology, leadership, and societal impact in a role where you are responsible for the communication infrastructure that is very important to our electricity distribution operations. You will have the opportunity to develop an engaged team, collaborate closely with other functions, and create stability and a productive work environment in an area that is of great importance to society.
About the Role
As Network Manager, you are responsible for the team that operates and manages Eldistribution's communication infrastructure. This includes both active and passive parts of our UCN (Utility Communication Network), such as routers, switches, radio links, masts, fiber, and communication nodes.
You work both at a strategic level and close to the operations. This means you create clear working methods, priorities, and guidelines while being present in day-to-day activities and supporting the team in their development. This role is suitable for you if you like to lead with clarity and want to contribute to a vital part of Sweden's critical infrastructure.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
Lead and further develop the team within the network area and promote a sustainable work environment.
Implement and further develop structure, order, and clear working methods that provide predictability and high quality.
Manage and develop communication infrastructure in line with operational needs and to ensure 24/7 availability.
Create close collaboration and effective interfaces with operations centers and other stakeholders.
Establish, follow up, and optimize budgets for both operations and personnel.
You report to the responsible manager in the department's management group and actively contribute to the development of the operations and the organization as a whole.
Requirements
We believe you thrive in a role where you can lead through security, clarity, and commitment. You enjoy creating order in complex environments and are inspired by developing both people and working methods.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience in leadership in a technical, operational, or mission-critical environment.
Is an engaged, attentive, and clear leader who creates security and direction.
Finds it easy to build collaboration and create structure even in complex and geographically distributed environments.
You don't need to have a background in all of our technical areas – we value your leadership, your curiosity, and your ability to create a work environment where people can succeed.
