In this role, you will lead our newly hired forest machine operators through our trainee program - from recruitment to fully trained operator. With your forestry expertise and inspiring leadership, you will coach, support and guide them, creating a safe and educational environment where our trainees have the best conditions for a successful career. With us, the forest grows, people grow, and businesses grow. We are now looking for a communicative and engaged manager for our trainee teams within our Intrapreneurship operations. In this role, you are responsible for our trainee program where you lead the training of future forest machine operators while contributing to high safety, quality and efficiency in raw material supply in the forest. As a leader of four work teams consisting of around 15 forest machine operators at the beginning of their careers plus three experienced supervisors who support them operationally, you have full personnel responsibility and a key role in creating a safe, efficient and developmental work environment. You work close to the operations and spend a large part of your time in the field, where you coach the team and ensure quality in the training. Here is a selection of work tasks: Plan and implement the trainee program together with the supervisors Recruit trainees in collaboration with recruitment specialist Lead operational matters and team meetings with focus on safety, work environment, quality and delivery Follow up and evaluate the trainee program Responsible for salary management and goal tracking Handle ongoing personnel matters and develop employees We offer exciting and varied work in an environment characterized by cohesion, team spirit and an open climate. The placement location for the position is flexible within our operational area and the role involves regular travel to teams located in Tierp, Grangärde, Filipstad and Vansbro. You are solution-oriented and thrive in an operational day-to-day where your forestry knowledge makes a difference. Your competence is based on forestry higher education or equivalent as well as a couple of years of professional experience, preferably in management positions.
