About the Role
As a Finance Manager, you are responsible for leading the team in daily work, developing work methods and processes, and ensuring that the finance function provides professional support to the operation. You work closely with management and operations, and serve as a natural sounding board for both operational and strategic matters.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop the finance team
Create structure, clarity, and engagement within the group
Ensure that the finance function works efficiently and with high quality
Manage budget, forecasts, and financial follow-up
Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Develop routines, processes, and work methods
Drive improvement and change initiatives
Support operations and management on financial matters
Foster collaboration between the finance department and other parts of the operation
We Are Looking for Someone Who
Has experience leading and developing employees
Has documented personnel management experience
Has worked in leadership roles where you delivered results through others
Is comfortable working closely with operations and supporting managers and staff
Has experience with finance, budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up
Has a good understanding of accounting and closing procedures
Thrives in environments of change and enjoys developing people and processes
