In this role, you are responsible for safety, quality, delivery, and costs related to raw material supply in the forest. You will lead a team consisting of three work units with approximately ten forest machine operators for whom you have full personnel responsibility. The role is independent and involves driving continuous improvements as well as formulating, communicating, and following up on production targets together with your work teams. You will spend a significant portion of your working time in the field, where you work within a specific geographic area alongside the machine operators. Here are some key responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and conduct team meetings focusing on safety, work environment, delivery, quality, and costs Operational planning and communication to production managers regarding the machine teams' production capacity Hold meetings and maintain ongoing dialogue with production managers to handle changes and challenges, such as wet terrain, fire risk, spring thaw, and more Salary management and follow-up on targets/bonus targets Handle ongoing personnel matters, such as recruitment, sick leave, and more We offer exciting and varied work in an environment characterized by cohesion, teamwork, and an open climate. Your competence is built on forestry higher education or equivalent, plus a couple of years of professional experience, preferably in leadership positions.
