Learn more at statkraft.se About the Role Statkraft is now seeking a group manager for the Swedish operations control center within production, located in Sollefteå. The operations control center plays a central role in the organization and is responsible for overseeing, managing, and coordinating the daily operations of our production facilities. Through continuous monitoring of processes, systems, and installations, we ensure safe, stable, and efficient electricity production with high availability. As the manager of the operations control center, you will lead a function of great importance to Statkraft's production capacity. You will have personnel and work environment responsibility for a team of 10 shift-working employees who work 24/7 year-round, and you are also responsible for their scheduling. Furthermore, you are responsible for developing both employees and work methods to ensure that the operation's goals are achieved, both in daily work and in the long term. In the role, you are responsible for: - leading and prioritizing operations with focus on safety, availability, and production optimization in the operational phase - developing systems, processes, and procedures for operational production monitoring - driving improvement initiatives and contributing to the department's long-term development - strengthening collaboration within production and in the organization regarding operational matters - ensuring quality in production data and operational monitoring of water management regulations - managing budget, forecasts, and financial follow-up for the team The role also involves many internal and external contact points. You work closely with authorities, industry organizations, grid operators, and contractors, represent Statkraft in various industry forums, and contribute to development and system matters together with multiple parts of the business. Qualification Requirements To be successful in this role, we see that you have: - Relevant technical university education, preferably in electrical power, or equivalent experience - Experience with leadership with personnel responsibility and a track record of developing both employees and operations - Good knowledge of ESA and experience working according to ESA methodology - Good systems understanding and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office - Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing - Ability to build trust through clear, responsible, and present leadership - A structured way of working and high integrity, good judgment, and strong collaboration skills Meritorious: Previous experience from the hydropower industry or energy market, preferably from a leading operations function. We also view positively experience with budget and forecast work, financial monitoring, and planning of operations and resources. If you have previously managed shift-working personnel and worked in systems such as SAP, Network Manager, or other SCADA systems, that is also highly meritorious.
