About Us The Personnel Transportation Department is currently being established and will gradually, starting in January 2027, take over government-funded trips within Upplands Väsby Municipality. We provide government-funded transportation for school transport and trips for daily activities. The trips are both within Upplands Väsby Municipality and to and from neighboring municipalities. The department consists of chauffeurs, a Personnel Transportation Manager, a traffic coordinator, and a coordinator. In total, we will be approximately 30 people. We work in fresh, newly renovated facilities adapted for our operations and have a completely new fleet of vehicles. About the Position Main responsibilities consist of personnel transportation to and from school and within healthcare and care services, within the framework of government-funded trips. This means daily contact with customers, where you are responsible for providing our customers with a safe and positive experience through good service and friendly interaction. Other transporting such as food transport, internal courier trips, other transportation, and other service work may also be included in the position. The vehicle fleet consists of accessible transit buses (special vehicles) and passenger cars. You are responsible for ensuring the vehicle presents an appealing appearance where "clean and neat" are important guidelines. Working hours are primarily scheduled Monday-Friday and vary between approximately 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Work on holidays may occur. Prior to hiring, Upplands Väsby Municipality conducts a background check. Are You the Person We're Looking For? We are seeking someone who has: - A Class B driver's license - Good driving experience and a safe and responsible driving style - Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written It is advantageous if you have: - Experience with personnel transportation - Experience working with children or adults with special needs - A taxi driver's license As a Person, You Are: We are seeking someone who is organized, confident, and takes responsibility.
