For more information, visit OctoCore's website www.octocore.com. About the Role As Group CFO, you will have overall responsibility for the group's financial management, development, and performance. You will be a central business partner to the CEO and other leadership and are expected to contribute financial rigor, business perspective, and relevant decision-making materials in both strategic and operational matters. The role is broad and extends well beyond the traditional CFO responsibility. In addition to Finance, you are responsible for HR and IT and thus take a central role in further developing the organization, ways of working, system support, and governance as the group grows. You will work closely with operations and group management to create transparency, structure, and scalability, and ensure that the organization has the right conditions for continued profitable development. As a member of group management, you will be an important partner to the CEO on matters concerning strategy, investments, performance, organization, and future growth. You lead a team in Malmö and also have functional responsibility in the international matrix organization in the Netherlands. This is a role for someone who thrives switching between strategic perspective and business-focused decision-making and who is motivated by creating concrete impact through people, processes, data, and financial management. Primary Responsibilities Have overall responsibility for the group's Finance function, including budget, forecast, financial reporting, controlling, and follow-up Ensure effective financial management with high quality in reporting, internal controls, compliance, and risk management Drive work on liquidity, cash flow, working capital, and profitability Develop KPI structure, business intelligence, and transparency in financial and operational information Translate financial analyses into business insights and clear decision-making materials for the CEO and group management Be a strategic sparring partner to the CEO and management team on matters concerning business development, investments, profitability, and growth Actively contribute to the group's continued organic growth and future acquisitions Lead and develop the HR function with responsibility for organizational development, talent management, recruitment, compensation matters, and employee relations Contribute to developing a scalable organization with clear leadership and a strong performance-oriented culture Have overall responsibility for IT and ensure that systems, processes, and digital tools support the organization's development and efficiency Lead and develop the team in Malmö and work through an international matrix organization with functional responsibility in the Netherlands Work cross-functionally and across borders to create a cohesive, scalable, and efficient group Qualifications We are looking for someone with solid experience as a CFO or equivalent leading financial role in an international B2B operation. You have a strong financial foundation combined with a genuine interest in the business and the organization's overall development. To succeed in the role, we would like you to have: Academic degree in finance or another relevant field Multiple years of experience in a qualified CFO role or equivalent strategic leadership position Documented experience in financial management, analysis, reporting, budget, forecast, and performance management Experience from international operations, preferably within industry or manufacturing Good understanding of commercial drivers, profitability, cash flow, and value creation Experience working closely with CEO and management team on strategic and business-critical matters Experience in organizational and operational development Experience leading and developing functions and employees, preferably in an international or matrix-based organization Ability to work effectively across borders and with different functions and stakeholders Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written Your Profile As a person, you are analytical, business-oriented, and confident in your professional judgment. You have the ability to see the big picture without losing your understanding of the financial details that drive the business. You communicate clearly and have an easy way of making complex information understandable and relevant for different audiences. You are a natural partner to the CEO and management team and have the seniority and integrity required to challenge, influence, and drive decisions forward. At the same time, you are unpretentious and comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment where both strategic perspective and action are required. You are a change-oriented leader who translates strategy into clear structures, efficient ways of working, and concrete results.
