Your role at Iver We are on an exciting journey providing companies and the public sector with compliant, cloud-based infrastructure services based on Ceph. Our cloud solutions under our brand Cleura are leading in Europe in infrastructure as a service using open source such as OpenStack. You will be part of a team of 2-3 engineers who maintain the storage infrastructure for our global cloud services. This role is about driving our current clusters, designing new clusters, and enabling new features so our customers can do even more. We are looking for a colleague who is a true team player who tackles tasks and also enjoys developing their skills, testing new features, and sharing ideas to move us all forward and build an even better service for our customers. Examples of tasks: Design, shape, monitor, manage, and optimize our Ceph storage solution, including tuning and optimizing performance. Collaborate with the cloud engineering team to ensure proper integration with our OpenStack environment. Work with automation tools to efficiently provision and manage our Ceph environment. We are looking for you with at least four years of experience in similar responsibilities and documented experience with implementations. You are self-driven, confident in your expertise, and have a strong desire to contribute to the team's and customers' success. Like us, you are curious, want to try new things, and develop together. We would like to see that you have: European citizenship. In-depth knowledge of Ceph. Good knowledge of HAProxy and RadosGW. Experience building and using Ansible collections. Meritorious: Bachelor's degree in information technology or higher degree. Experience with distributed storage solutions for Linux such as GlusterFS, Lustre, ZFS, etc. Certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, LPI. Work location: Iver has 23 locations in the Nordic region. For this role, we see that you work from the nearest Iver office to you.
