VSIA "Latvijas Valsts ceļi" Fixed-term position invites applications for ROAD CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER Maintenance Planning Department Key Responsibilities: Plan and manage the implementation of maintenance work programs and monitor their execution. Participate in the implementation of externally funded projects, communicate with foreign partners. Prepare and review program or project letters, reports, overviews, statements and clarifications. Plan and organize procurements (needs assessment, development of work scope lists, specification development or adaptation, procurement process management). Participate in the development of IT systems for daily maintenance work, provide consultation on system operation, ensure the update of information in the system. Requirements for Candidates: Higher education in transport construction, other engineering-technical or project management specialties. Desired experience working in the road sector. Desired experience in project management. Ability to apply regulatory acts governing activities in practice. Ability to apply professional knowledge and improve it. State language proficiency at C1 level. English language proficiency at least B2 level for communication with foreign partners in the implementation of externally funded projects.
