VSIA "Latvijas Valsts ceļi" Fixed-term position invites applications for ROAD CIVIL ENGINEER in the Maintenance Planning Division Key Responsibilities: Plan and manage the implementation of maintenance work programs and monitor their execution. Participate in the realization of externally funded projects, communicate with foreign partners. Prepare and review program or project letters, reports, statements, announcements, and clarifications. Plan and organize procurement (needs assessment, development of work scope lists, specification development or adaptation, procurement process management). Participate in the development of IT systems for daily maintenance work, consult on system operations, ensure the updating of information in the system. Requirements for Candidates: Higher education in transport construction, other engineering, or project management specialization. Desired experience working in the road sector. Desired experience in project management. Ability to apply regulatory acts governing activities in practice. Ability to apply professional knowledge and continuously improve it. State language proficiency at C1 level. English language proficiency at least B2 level, for communication with foreign partners in externally funded project implementation. Monthly salary from 1900 to 2300 EUR (gross), depending on experience and qualifications. Opportunity to work in a hybrid model (up to two days per week possible to work remotely). Position based in Riga. Fixed-term employment – 1.5 years.
