R&D Category Manager
Do you want to work closely with technology, customers, and colleagues in developing hydraulic solutions? We are now looking for a Category Manager to join our R&D team at Wipro Infrastructure Engineering in Skellefteå. This is a technical specialist role, with no people management responsibilities, where you can combine hydraulic knowledge and design with close team collaboration. You will work primarily from our office in Skellefteå, where your direct manager is also based, and become part of a dedicated R&D team with excellent knowledge sharing in daily work. We also offer some flexibility through hybrid work after the introductory period.

We develop and manufacture hydraulic cylinders and systems for demanding applications and deliver to OEM customers worldwide. About the Role
As a Category Manager, you will become a technical specialist within a specific application segment, for example forest machinery, agricultural machinery, suspension systems, or construction machinery. You will work closely with customers, colleagues, and production to develop, optimize, and ensure the quality of hydraulic solutions. The role suits you if you thrive in a technical environment where you can contribute your specialist knowledge, collaborate closely with your team, and help improve products and working methods. Examples of Work Tasks:
· Work with new development and optimization of hydraulic cylinders and related components
Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, production, procurement, and Key Account Managers
Support production units and engineering centers in both Sweden and internationally
Ensure quality by implementing and developing technical standards and processes
We Believe You Have:
A degree in engineering or a master's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
Solid experience with hydraulic systems, component design, and application solutions
Good knowledge of PTC Creo (Pro/ENGINEER) and PTC Windchill PDM Link (a plus)
Experience in consulting, optimization, and technical support for hydraulic products
