As a Category Manager, you work closely with the business and will be part of our strategic team. The role involves a clear strategic focus where you independently develop and implement category strategies. The Category Manager role is new to our team and is part of building our strategic function within the procurement department. Your main areas of responsibility: - Independently develop, create, and implement category strategies to create value for Vattenfall Hydropower - Independently drive framework procurement processes - Work closely with the business and ensure anchoring of strategies and development of working methods - Build and develop both internal relationships and supplier relationships, including partnerships where commercially justified You will be part of a growing team and will play an important role in an ongoing transformation where new working methods are established. Requirements We are looking for someone with work experience in implementing category management and a strategic perspective with the ability to translate strategy into reality. Further, we are looking for someone with: - Experience in strategic procurement and implementation of category management - Several years of experience with ABK04/ABT06 contracts - Experience in change management - Academic education (e.g., engineering, economics, or law) or equivalent work experience - Communication skills in both Swedish and English - Class B driving license It is highly advantageous if you also have experience in sales and project management as well as experience from the energy industry.
