Café Manager - Tegnér's Bakery Ekerö

Tegnér's Bakery is seeking a leader for our service team in Ekerö Tegnér's Bakery Ekerö opened in 2022 and has quickly become a beloved destination for bread, baked goods, and coffee by the water. Now we're looking for a Café Manager who wants to take responsibility for the café and retail operations, drive sales, lead the team day-to-day, and develop the business further. We also operate a location in Tullinge, where Tegnér's Bakery was founded in 2019. Both units are built on the same foundation: craftsmanship, quality, and a clear ambition to give our guests an experience that feels thoughtful, personal, and professional. About the Role As Café Manager, you are responsible for running the retail and service operations at the location. You lead the team, handle staffing and scheduling, and ensure that guests receive excellent service—and that the environment, workflow, and sales all function smoothly. You work closely with our production team and our Operations Manager, who oversees the bigger picture. You are part of a small leadership team where you have full authority to take responsibility and are expected to take initiative, solve problems, and drive continuous improvements in daily operations. This is an operational management role where you are on-site, lead with clarity, and build a strong team around you. Your Responsibilities Lead daily operations in retail and service Handle scheduling, staffing, onboarding, and team management Ensure service quality, order, and a safe work environment Monitor sales, average transaction value, and waste Responsible for cash handling, basic administration, and procedures Collaborate with production on product flow, campaigns, and presentation Manage the café's food offering—including selection, setup, presentation, and daily workflow Drive sales through excellent customer service, environment, and proper pacing We're Looking for Someone Who: Has previous experience in a leadership role in a café, bakery, or restaurant Is confident taking on responsibility and skilled at organizing Has experience with operations, staffing, and team leadership Understand workflow, sales, and guest experience Speaks and writes Swedish fluently Has basic knowledge of food safety procedures (HACCP) It's a Plus If You: Have worked with artisan bakery or café with food offerings Have an eye for improvements—you like making things a bit smarter each week We Offer: A clear management assignment with operational responsibility and trust A role where you get to make an impact—both in daily operations and in development Full-time position with varying hours (including weekend shifts) Fixed salary by agreement Collective agreement with Visita/HRF
