JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As head of our RIB operations, you will be responsible for our RIB organization. You will also have the support of an administrator. The duties include personnel and financial responsibility, training planning, exercise planning, as well as other operational planning tasks.
Preventive tasks in the form of education and supervisory work are also included. We have a flexible organization and you must be prepared to help with other tasks when needed.
Based on your own interests, there is also the possibility to adapt the content of the position to some extent.
On-call duty as incident commander, primarily within Eksjö Municipality every third week, is part of the position.
The rescue services in Jönköping County have very extensive and well-functioning cooperation both operatively and in terms of planning, called Räddsam F. There are therefore good opportunities for those who want to develop in the work to participate in the various working groups and projects that are driven in the county.
QUALIFICATIONS
Fire Chief Training
We are looking for someone with appropriate training within the rescue services field where Rescue Leadership A / 1 is a minimum level. If you have additional or other competencies in the field such as fire engineering training, SMO training, Rescue Leadership B / 2, supervision A or A/B, that is of course meritorious.
Driver's License
Driver's license class at least B, C is desirable.
Pedagogy and Communication
Since the position is outward-facing, we want you to have good communication skills. Converting ideas into action is an important part of our work, as is oral presentation for staff, the public and decision makers. The work requires good knowledge of the Swedish language. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
To maintain response time to Eksjö town center, you should be resident in Eksjö or its surrounding area.
Since the position will be placed in a security classification, you as an applicant must be a Swedish citizen.
Employment form: Permanent employment.
Duration: Indefinite, start date: 2026-10-01 or by agreement.
