On behalf of our client, Miljonbemanning is now seeking experienced and responsible truck drivers to operate garbage trucks in Uddevalla and surrounding areas. The work is within sanitation and waste management and means you will become an important part of the client's daily operations. The role suits you if you enjoy working independently, feel confident behind the wheel, and have good experience operating heavy vehicles in various traffic and operational environments. The assignment requires high demands on flexibility, safety awareness, and the ability to quickly adapt to the company's needs. Job Description As a truck driver, you will primarily operate a garbage truck and perform transports related to waste management. The work is carried out according to established routes, schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures. The role includes, among other things: Operating a garbage truck safely and responsibly Working according to established routes and schedules Handling waste and materials according to applicable procedures Performing daily vehicle inspections Reporting faults, deviations, incidents, and near-misses Following traffic legislation and local safety regulations Collaborating with colleagues and supervisors Operating vehicles in both urban areas and at facilities and operational sites The work requires you to be able to work independently and drive safely even in environments where other vehicles, machinery, and people are in motion. We Are Looking for You Who have a valid Class C driver's license, alternatively CE for the current vehicle have held a Class C license for at least two years have at least two years of relevant experience with similar driving assignments have valid YKB certification have a valid digital driver's card when a tachograph is used can speak, read, and understand Swedish fluently are safety-conscious, responsible, and reliable can follow instructions, procedures, and workplace safety requirements have good collaboration skills and professional conduct have good physical ability and enjoy practical work Above all, we are looking for someone with experience operating heavy vehicles and who understands the importance of safety, punctuality, and responsibility in daily traffic. Experience in sanitation, waste management, or operating garbage trucks is particularly relevant. Other Information This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Miljonbemanning and work at our client's location in Uddevalla and surrounding areas. Working hours may vary based on operational needs, and work may occur on weekdays as well as evenings, nights, and weekends. Flexibility and the ability to work with relatively short notice are therefore an important part of the assignment. The work takes place in a safety-critical and partly physically demanding environment. Before the assignment begins, a mandatory new employee health examination will be conducted, including alcohol and drug testing. For sanitation personnel, movement and strength tests are also included. As part of the employment and quality assurance process, you will also need to be able to verify relevant driver's license qualifications, YKB, experience, and other requested merits.
