About the Position Professionals Nord is seeking a senior construction project manager on behalf of AFRY. The assignment is part of our staff leasing. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at AFRY for 12 months. The intention is that you may eventually become directly employed by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. Responsibilities In your role as senior construction project manager, you are responsible for leading and driving construction projects within industry. You have a central role in project execution and work closely with customers, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure that projects are delivered according to established goals. Examples of tasks: Lead and drive construction projects through all project phases Take responsibility for planning, monitoring, and execution of projects regarding time, quality, and budget Coordinate and lead dialogue between clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders Work commercially by developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the continued development of the operation Who We're Looking For We believe that your personal qualities are crucial to how well you will thrive in the role at AFRY. We are seeking someone with solid experience in construction project management within industry who enjoys leading complex projects and teams. You have at least a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, as well as extensive experience from the construction sector. We would like to see that you have previously worked as a project manager, contractor, consultant, BAS-P/BAS-U, client, or in a similar role. You have good market knowledge, a strong network, and are motivated by developing both business and operations. As a person you are driven, engaged, and have a natural ability to build trust. You are receptive, diplomatic, and enjoy collaboration while maintaining a clear results focus. You are commercially minded, communicative, and understand the importance of the consultant role in customer relations. The role involves travel as needed, which means you are flexible and enjoy working in different locations for periods.
