Construction Project Manager in contracting and building services We are now looking for a driven construction project manager with a focus on contracting and building services who can lead projects from inquiry to handover with high quality, cost control, and customer focus. The role involves responsibility for planning, management, and follow-up of construction and service projects in varying scales — from smaller service jobs and renovations to larger contracts. You will be the hub between clients, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring that projects are executed according to agreed timelines, costs, quality and safety requirements. The work requires strong ability to create structure in project situations, manage changes, risks, and conflicts, and make well-founded decisions. The role includes budget and cost responsibility, contract management, development and monitoring of schedules, as well as quality and environmental work. You are also expected to actively work with occupational health and safety issues on site and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards. Communication is central — both written and verbal — to create clear orders, reports, and updates. You work in close collaboration with the entire team on site to optimize solutions from an operations and maintenance perspective. We especially value experience or knowledge in MEPS (the Nordic market's leading standard system for managing, calculating, and documenting building damages and repairs in properties), which helps you understand installation coordination, contract boundaries, and technical solutions for operations and property value. Required experience and qualifications Relevant higher education or vocational training in construction, engineering, or equivalent; alternatively, extensive practical experience in construction project management. Several years of experience in project management within contracting and building services. Meritorious: knowledge and/or documented experience of MEPS. Good experience in establishing and monitoring schedules, budgets, and cost estimates. Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and Swedish construction standards (e.g., AB 04/ABT 06) is meritorious. Experience with occupational health and safety work and safety management on construction sites. Good IT skills; familiarity with project management tools, calculation programs, and common office applications. Driver's license category B is required. Personal qualities Structured and results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and make decisions under pressure. Good communication skills, both with clients and internally — clear and unpretentious. Proactive problem-solver who can see both the big picture and technical details. Flexible and adaptable in an environment with varying assignments and rapid changes. Leadership with the ability to motivate and coordinate teams and drive deliverables together with subcontractors.
