Our construction and real estate team in Blekinge is growing, and we're now looking for you to take responsibility for construction projects or take on the role of assistant construction project manager on larger complex projects.

About the Role
As a Construction Project Manager in Ingenjörsfirman's construction and real estate team in Blekinge, you work on a consulting basis in the client's organization and operate from our office in Karlskrona.
You are responsible for, among other things, tracking project finances, scheduling, quality, environmental and occupational health matters, and leading project and financial meetings.
Projects can range from large industrial projects, ice rinks and swimming halls, hospital buildings, and residential projects. Projects can include early stages, pre-studies, or already designed projects.
You have great freedom to plan your own time and where you work within the scope of what your assignments require. In the company, you'll find support from colleagues with extensive experience and deep industry knowledge, always ready to share.
In addition to growing into and developing in the role of Construction Project Manager, there are good opportunities to further your education, for example as a quality manager or building inspector, as well as continuing education with courses tied to assignment requirements.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with a few years of experience from the construction industry who now feels it's time to take the next step. You've worked with leading and planning construction projects and have a good understanding of the challenges the construction project manager role entails.
Requirements:
Understanding of the early stages of the construction process and how to work in production.
Experience with project finance and scheduling in construction projects as well as understanding of quality work, occupational health work, and environmental requirements.
Good understanding of industry and regulatory requirements for the construction process.
Experience with administration and document management in projects.
Driver's license.
Merits:
Experience working from the contractor side.
Experience working with early stages of the construction process, for example developing pre-studies and request for proposal documents.
Certification as a project manager.
We view a relevant educational background positively – for example a civil engineering degree or a three-year construction engineering degree.

We're looking for someone who is a good judge of character, experienced at leading and coordinating groups, and confident in handling clients at various levels. You enjoy handling a wide variety of challenges, adapt easily to changed circumstances, and are straightforward and clear in your communication. You enjoy planning and organizing and have the ability to see and understand risks and problems.
