Construction Project Manager for Consulting Assignment in Uppsala County
We are seeking an experienced construction project manager for a consulting assignment within public real estate operations.
The assignment involves managing construction projects through the entire process: from preliminary studies and design to implementation, inspection, and follow-up. Projects may include planned maintenance, operational adaptations, energy efficiency improvements, renovations, expansions, and new construction.
The assignment starts immediately and is expected to run until the year-end/beginning of 2027.
About the Position
You are responsible for project progress regarding schedule, budget, quality, and function. The role also includes coordination responsibilities where you create structure and overview of multiple parallel projects.
Examples of work tasks:
Project management, design management, and construction supervision.
Budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring.
Investigations for renovations and new construction.
Preparation of documentation for procurement of contractors and consultants.
Coordination of ongoing construction and real estate projects.
Communication with internal clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone with solid experience in construction project management, preferably within public real estate or public sector operations. You have good knowledge of contract law, building regulations (PBL), and building standards (BBR). Experience with public procurement (LOU), energy efficiency improvements, and working in politically governed organizations is a plus.
As a person, you are independent, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects in parallel.
Your Choice – Self-Employed or Employed Consultant
Your assignment will be at the client's workplace, but you choose whether you want to work as a subconsultant with your own company or as a consultant directly employed by Fasticon. As an employed consultant, you are covered by collective agreements, insurance, and occupational pension.
