JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Construction Project Manager, you drive projects that make a real difference in people's daily lives. You plan, lead, and follow up on construction projects from idea to completed facility.
The role includes preparing construction starts by obtaining permits, making agreements with property owners, and solving technical issues together with colleagues from street and water/sewer operations. During projects, you coordinate many different stakeholders from internal specialists such as project engineers, traffic engineers, and planning architects to external contractors, consultants, and authorities.
You are responsible for procurement, monitoring of contracts and warranty obligations, and ensuring that project plans, quality, schedules, and budgets are followed. The work varies between office and field, between planning and practical implementation. This makes the role both varied and developmental.
This is an assignment where you have significant personal responsibility, but also support from experienced colleagues and close collaboration with many other competencies within the municipal development field.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with relevant education and at least 3-5 years of experience in project management within construction, land/civil works, or equivalent experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
It is meritorious if you have, for example, a civil or higher technical degree in road and water engineering. And if you have experience with projects involving water/sewer, streets, and roads.
You have experience with LOU and application of AMA anläggning, MER anläggning, AB04, ABT06, ABK09, and express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
As a person, you are organized and self-driven, with a strong ability to plan, prioritize, and take responsibility for your work. You are responsible and hold the bigger picture together, even when multiple projects are ongoing simultaneously, have leadership abilities, and have a solution-oriented approach to challenges that arise.
We value initiative and creativity, and we welcome you bringing ideas and suggestions that drive the work forward.
You enjoy collaborations, are open to others' perspectives, and are good at motivating and cooperating with different stakeholders. When faced with complex problems, you see possibilities rather than obstacles and have a solution-oriented approach that allows you to tackle challenges with curiosity and commitment.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Along with your CV, we would like you to send a personal letter explaining why you are applying for this position.
