JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a building project manager, you have overall responsibility for renovations and new construction within Region Gävleborg, Hälsingland area with placement in Hudiksvall. You will be a key person with the opportunity to lead and work with the entirety of various building projects, from master plans, programs, and design to production and completion. The project manager role involves overall responsibility for each project and you ensure that projects are managed toward set goals. You will manage a team of seven employees and consultants. You will be one of three building project managers and report to the department manager. As a building project manager, you will, among other things • coordinate and distribute resources • support building project managers • assist in procurement of consultants/contractors • monitor how each project maintains schedule, budget, quality, and escalate deviations • monitor the external environment and maintain close dialogue with internal and external contacts • participate in stakeholder meetings • collaborate with other departments within Facilities Management. We value experience, ability, and knowledge of starting up projects, design management as well as leading projects through production to goal in this role. We also see that you are a person who has both interest and willingness to create customer contacts and relationships. To succeed in the role, you are a humble and attentive leader, while you are thorough, systematic, and creative in your approach. You take responsibility and complete your commitments and are accustomed to making complex decisions. You tackle large and small projects with the same enthusiasm and have a business-like and professional approach to your work. For this position, the following are required • university education with a focus on construction, construction law, real estate economics, or similar • leadership experience leading project teams in larger construction projects • experience leading operational parts of projects • B-class driver's license, as travel occurs in the position If you have experience as a manager with personnel responsibility, we see this as highly meritorious.
