We have numerous and interesting description projects throughout Sweden and therefore need to strengthen our description department with an assistant describer.
About the Position
In our description department, you will participate as a describer in many different building projects at various stages.
The team you work in consists of seven experienced describers. As new to this role, you will receive excellent support, introduction, and training from both your colleagues and your manager.
A describer is never finished learning, but develops over time, with the market, and with projects – which are always unique.
You have the opportunity to develop toward a case manager role.
Key Responsibilities
We create project-adapted building and room descriptions for all stages of the building process and contract forms.
Projects vary between public and private and range from multifamily homes, schools, commercial spaces, care and nursing facilities, to renovations of older buildings such as churches, museums, and other culturally historic buildings.
Building descriptions are created in digital description software.
Room descriptions are created in customized templates or in BIM tools Bimeye and dRofus.
In your role as a describer, you will learn to independently create well-developed building and room descriptions. You will be an important part of the design work.
We Are Looking for You
Have post-secondary building technical education, or perhaps you have a different background but a few years of experience in design of residential building projects.
Recently graduated, or have some experience from the construction industry.
Have excellent proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written) and a natural ability to express yourself in writing.
Have good knowledge of Word.
