Are you an experienced construction manager or site supervisor with a background in electrical or civil works? This could be your next opportunity. We're looking for you to work as a construction manager on power grid projects in the Stockholm area. As a construction manager, you represent the client in the field and are responsible for directing and monitoring contractors during implementation. You ensure that work is completed according to contract, schedule, and budget with the right quality, work environment, and safety standards. Projects are carried out in dense urban environments where coordination with municipalities, traffic authorities, other utility companies, and third parties is a natural part of daily work. This role is ideal for you if you're comfortable taking responsibility in production settings, have a solid understanding of contracting, and thrive in a role where structure, communication, and problem-solving are essential. This position is a consulting assignment, meaning you'll be employed as a consultant through Futuria People and work on-site with the client, with the possibility of direct recruitment by the client in the future. About the Company The client is an established company in Swedish energy and infrastructure with operations including Stockholm. The business encompasses development and maintenance of critical infrastructure where safety, quality, and long-term sustainability are the focus. You'll become part of an established project organization and work closely with project managers, contractors, and other internal and external parties. Projects are carried out at various locations in the Stockholm area, so the work involves a combination of on-site presence and administrative follow-up. About the Position As a construction manager, you're responsible for ongoing direction and monitoring of contractors during the project implementation phase. You work closely with the project manager and ensure that work is completed according to contract and technical specifications. The role can focus on either electrical or civil works, depending on your previous experience. Your responsibilities include: • Direct and monitor contractors in the field • Ensure work complies with contract, specifications, schedule, and quality requirements • Hold construction meetings and report project status to the project manager • Monitor time, costs, and deviations during implementation • Handle change orders and variations (ÄTA) • Control quality, documentation, and self-inspections, and coordinate inspections • Actively work on work environment and conduct safety inspections • Coordinate work with municipalities, traffic authorities, other utility companies, and third parties • Monitor safety on projects and ensure structured implementation We're Looking for You If You • Have experience as a construction manager, site supervisor, or equivalent in electrical, civil, or infrastructure work • Have experience independently directing and monitoring contractors during the implementation phase • Have knowledge of construction contracts such as AB 04 and ABT 06 • Have experience with work environment management in production and BAS-U training • Have experience with projects in urban or densely populated environments where coordination with municipalities, traffic authorities, or other parties was part of the work • Communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written • Hold valid ESA competence • Have a category B driver's license Meritorious • Knowledge of AMA Civil and Ground Engineering standards • Experience from complex urban projects, tunnels, or security-classified environments • Experience with inspections or inspection competence • For electrical focus: Experience with substations, cable installation, or local networks (0.4–20 kV) What We Offer • A responsible role in technical infrastructure projects in the Stockholm area • Opportunity to work closely with both project management and production • Projects in a complex urban environment with diverse technical and practical challenges • An established project organization with clear procedures and experienced colleagues • Introduction to the client's internal systems, processes, and technical instructions Additional Information Start: By agreement Scope: Full-time, consulting assignment Location: Stockholm Submit your application as soon as possible, as selection and interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
