Construction Manager at A-hus, part of the Derome Group
We are now seeking a construction manager to join our team. Would you like to help our customers realize their home dreams?
As a construction manager, your main task will be to procure and manage our construction projects on our behalf and as the customer's representative, from start to finished house. You will be the important link between our home-buying customers and the contractors. On behalf of the customer, you will participate in reviewing the prerequisites for carrying out the construction contract and assist with assembly and contract-related matters. In short - you drive projects forward, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure that we deliver according to contract, schedule, and quality.
The position is based in what we at A-hus call South region, and involves travel to and from construction sites and our office in Ängelholm. Part of a typical workday is spent in a car, so it is important to have a driver's license.
Your main responsibilities include:
Maintain dialogue with customers and stakeholders and provide clear feedback
Procure and manage subcontractors
Plan, lead construction meetings, and coordinate project stakeholders
Monitor finances and manage change orders
Ensure inspections, corrective actions, and handling of complaints
Keep project information updated in systems
Contribute to developing work methods and collaborations.
We are looking for someone who:
You likely have experience as a site manager, foreman, construction engineer, or project manager within the construction industry. You have a driver's license and want to drive on the job. We are looking for a future colleague who has an existing contact network in Ängelholm/Helsingborg, as we believe in business built on relationships.
You thrive in an outward-facing position where collaboration, initiative, quality awareness, and prioritization skills are key. That you are goal-oriented and energetic is a given. You have a financial mindset and good knowledge of MS Office.
