About the Operation We have different professional categories working with us, such as doctors, nurses/district nurses, nursing assistants, counselors, medical secretaries, business developers, care and rehabilitation coordinators, midwives, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. The Primary Care assignment in Dalarna is formulated in agreement with the Care Choice Unit. The work at BVC is carried out with support from the Child Health Unit and the national base program. Job Responsibilities We are looking for a District/Child Health Nurse who will share responsibility at BVC. Work tasks may vary over time. As a BVC nurse, you work with health care for children 0-5 years and their families. You follow the children's development through health visits, vaccinations, parental support, and health-promoting initiatives. The work takes place in close collaboration with doctors, psychologists, maternal health care, and other professionals involved with the child. You will have meaningful, developmental, exciting, and varied work with opportunities for regular skills development through the Child Health Unit. You actively help parents through scheduled visits, parent groups, telephone advice, home visits, and strengthen their confidence in their own competence and problem-solving ability according to the Child Health Care national program. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed specialist nurse with a focus on district nursing or health and medical care for children and young people Class B driving license Meritorious: Experience from primary care/BVC Experience working in our Cosmic journal system Personal Qualities: You have a professional approach in contact with children and their families and build trust. Work tasks within Child Health Care require high child competence and a child perspective. You should have good ability to collaborate with other agencies and simultaneously work independently, take responsibility for your assignment, and be flexible and stress-resilient.
