The Municipal Institution "Communal Service" of Salaspils Municipality invites applications for an indefinite-term position as a Construction Worker (profession code 9313 01) Professional Qualifications Required: Secondary or secondary vocational education; Desirable: Category B driver's license; Experience in construction work; Excellent command of the state language; Ability to independently plan, organize, and complete assigned tasks within established deadlines; Ability to work in a team, coordinating task execution in collaboration with other institution employees. Key Job Duties and Required Skills Regularly monitor and maintain the condition of territories, roads, recreational areas, parks, and the technical and visual condition of road signs under the Communal Service's management; Repair landscape elements damaged by vandalism or traffic accidents; Perform minor repairs in territories under the Communal Service's management and in other institutions of Salaspils Municipality, transport furniture and equipment, maintain skating rinks during winter, install road signs, repair emergency potholes, etc.; During winter, during heavy snowfall or thaw, clear snow from and salt-sand mixture on pedestrian pathways owned by the municipality that cannot be maintained mechanically, as well as public transport stops and pedestrian crossings.
