Your Role
As an assistant store manager at Lidl, you have a key role! You are the face of our store to our customers and for you, the customer is always number one. You are expected to be a role model in daily store operations and ensure that our stores maintain a high standard and exceed customer expectations every day. In addition, your role includes being a good colleague and supporting the team toward great results.
The role includes tasks such as:
• Ensure and deliver excellent customer service in the store
• Participate in daily work in an exemplary manner, which includes unpacking goods and ensuring shelves are well-stocked, ensuring freshness and expiration dates on products, keeping the store clean and fresh, and serving customers at the checkout
• Contribute to the store living up to our core pillars of customer friendliness, product availability, freshness, cleanliness, and profitability
• Support training of new colleagues
• Take greater responsibility for store operations including key metrics when the store manager and sales manager are not present
Your Profile
We're looking for someone who is responsible, has a good sense of customer service, and is a skilled problem solver. You enjoy planning and leading work and are driven by working results-oriented and contributing to the store's success in a fast-paced environment. It's an advantage if you have ambitions to develop toward a leading position in store operations in the future.
• We see it as positive if you have experience working in a service-oriented industry
• You are flexible with working hours and have a positive attitude toward change
• You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Based on the nature of the work tasks and the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2023:2, chapter 8 and appendix 2), you must be 18 years old
