Your Role As an assistant store manager at Lidl, you have a key role! You are the face of our store to our customers and for you, the customer is always number one. You're expected to be a role model in daily store operations and ensure that our stores maintain a high standard and exceed customer expectations every day. Beyond this, your role also includes being a good colleague and supporting the team to achieve great results. The role includes tasks such as: • Ensure and deliver excellent customer service in the store • Participate in daily work in an exemplary manner, which includes unpacking goods and ensuring shelves are well-stocked, ensuring freshness and expiration dates on products, keeping the store clean and fresh, and serving customers at the checkout • Contribute to the store living up to our core values of customer friendliness, product availability, freshness, cleanliness, and profitability • Support training of new colleagues • Take greater responsibility for store operations including key metrics when the store manager and sales manager are not present Your Profile We're looking for someone who is responsible, has a good sense of customer service, and is a skilled problem solver. You enjoy planning and leading work and are driven by working results-oriented and contributing to the store's success in a fast-paced environment.
