Do you love food and are you ready for a career where people are at the center? At City Gross, everything we do is about helping and inspiring our customers toward a better everyday life. Our heart beats a little extra for fresh produce and we believe in people. We believe we become better when we have different backgrounds and experiences. Whether you're promoting freshly harvested vegetables, cutting the perfect piece of meat, ensuring shelves are always well-stocked, or creating campaigns that meet our customers' needs, everyone here is here for one reason: to create an amazing customer experience.
About the Job
Position type: Permanent employment at 26 hours per week, with a trial period.
Start date: September 1, 2026 or by agreement.
Work hours: Early mornings, late evenings, and weekends are a natural part of the work.
You put the finishing touch on the customer experience
You have the chance to make a big impact on our customers' visits, so you have an important mission to make the customer experience smooth and pleasant. This could mean a friendly smile, an unexpected question, or a helpful attitude. You should ensure that the customer leaves happy – and ideally with an extra item in their basket and a good feeling!
What will you do?
Every day brings new meetings and challenges, but some of your main tasks will be:
Ensure customers leave the store with a smile (and perhaps an extra item or new inspiration)
Work with e-commerce picking, orders, and service at pickup
Work with checkout, restocking, and creating a pleasant store environment with order and organization
Collaborate with colleagues throughout the store – we are a team and help where needed!
Who are you?
You are a natural problem-solver who enjoys pace and drive. A friendly greeting and an extra helping hand are a given for you. Do you have a great interest in food and selling products? Great! If you've worked with e-commerce before – even better!
We believe that you:
Have a high school education and speak and write Swedish fluently. Since our customers speak more languages than that, it's wonderful if you do too.
Love meeting customers and believe that service should be genuine and engaged
Like doing things together and bring energy and joy
Are curious, solution-oriented, and see when something needs to be done and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get it done!
What do you get?
Secure terms – We have collective agreements with Handels and Unionen.
Affordable food basket – You get employee discount on everything from fancy weekend dinners to quick weekday solutions.
Parental leave with extra security – we offer enhanced parental benefits according to collective agreement so you can enjoy your new family member a little extra.
A healthier and more energetic body and mind – We care about your health and offer wellness benefits, so you can stay active in the way that suits you best.
Real career opportunities – We have the chance to grow! Many of our store managers started exactly where you are now.
Does this sound like something for you? Send in your application – we look forward to meeting you!
