Our client is an established staffing company in retail that offers flexible extra jobs at various retail chains. As a retail sales associate, you'll work in different stores depending on needs and available shifts. This position is ideal for you if you already have another main occupation and want to combine it with a flexible extra job in retail and service. Location: Gothenburg and surrounding area We're looking for: Retail Sales Associate Your responsibilities: - Work at the checkout - Provide good service and help customers in the store - Work with sales and upselling - Stock merchandise and ensure the store is well-organized - Handle product care and inventory management - Clean and maintain order in the store - Perform other common retail tasks Requirements: - You have Swedish at an upper-intermediate level and can handle most work-related situations independently - You have English at an intermediate level and can participate in regular conversations and ask and answer simple questions - You have previous experience in retail, preferably in retail trade - Experience with cash register, customer service, service, sales, or upselling - You have another main occupation of at least 50%, for example studies or a permanent job - Your main occupation must be guaranteed for at least one year - You can work at least two shifts on weekdays during daytime, including opening shifts Your profile: - Service-oriented and enjoy customer contact - Flexible and open to working in different stores and in different locations - Responsible and quick to adapt to new workplaces and tasks - Active in registering availability and showing interest in available shifts - Prepared to take shifts with short notice - Good communication skills and professional conduct in contact with the staffing company - Availability for evening and weekend shifts is a merit The employer offers: - Flexible hourly employment in a retail staffing pool - Opportunity to work at different retail chains and different locations - You register your availability and show interest in available shifts via an app - Shifts vary from approximately three hours to a full workday and can be offered with short notice, often the day before or the same day - Working hours vary depending on store opening hours, usually around 10:00–20:00 - Collective agreement applies and salary is regulated according to GFL. Employee discounts are included. Important: This position is part of a project co-financed by the European Union through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). The project aims to support third-country nationals in their integration into the Swedish labor market. Participants have a residence permit in Sweden but lack Swedish citizenship or EU/EES citizenship.
