About the Job
We're looking for you if you enjoy food, people, and sales and want to be part of our great team at Willys Älvängen Handelsplats! In short, this position means you help our customers shop for good and sustainable food at truly great prices.
The position includes: Permanent employment at 32 hours per week, probationary period applies
Start date: By arrangement
Working hours: You will alternate between early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends
Requirements: Secondary school education, good Swedish language skills (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but in accordance with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not employ persons under 18 years old due to the nature of the work tasks.
Here's more about the position:
Together with your colleagues, you manage the varied daily operations of the grocery department, such as ensuring the store is well-stocked and looks great. You may also work with picking, packing, and delivery of e-commerce goods.
You meet our customers with knowledge, tact, and a big smile, whether they need help finding an item or paying for it.
After a while, you will also place orders and plan sales, and contribute to the store reaching its sales and profitability goals.

About You

It's an advantage if you've worked in retail or with customer service, but it's not a requirement.
You speak, write, and understand Swedish. Many of our customers speak more than one language, so if you do too, that's great!
