About the Job
We're looking for you—someone who loves food, people, and sales, and who wants to join our great team at Willys Karlstad Våxnäs! The role is simple: you help our customers shop for good, sustainable food at really great prices.
Job Details: Permanent position, 32 hours per week, with a trial period.
Start Date: September 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Work Hours: You'll vary between early mornings, daytime shifts, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements: Upper secondary education, strong Swedish language skills (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but per the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not employ people under 18 due to the nature of the work tasks.
More About the Role:
Together with your colleagues, you'll manage the varied daily operations of the fresh department—ensuring the store is well-stocked and looks great. You'll also have special responsibility for bread and grill in the store.
You'll meet our customers with knowledge, tact, and a big smile, whether they need help finding a product or paying for it.
After a while, you'll also place orders, plan sales, and help the store reach its sales and profitability goals.

It's an advantage if you've worked in retail or customer service, but it's not required.
You speak, write, and understand Swedish. Many of our customers speak more than one language, so if you do too, that's fantastic!
