About the Job We're looking for you who loves food, people, and sales and wants to be part of our great team at Willys Gävle Hemsta! In short, this position means you contribute to our customers being able to shop for good and sustainable food at really good prices. The position involves: Temporary position of 26 hours per week until 2027-08-31. Start date: According to agreement. Working hours: You will alternate between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends. Requirements: High school education, good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but with reference to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not employ persons under 18 years of age due to the nature of the work tasks. Here's a bit more about the position: Together with your colleagues, you manage the varied daily operations in the fresh food department, such as ensuring the store is well-stocked and looks great. You meet our customers with knowledge, sensitivity, and a big smile, whether the customer needs help finding an item or paying for it. After a while, you will also place orders and plan sales as well as contribute to the store reaching its sales and profitability goals. It's also great if you: See when something needs to be done, roll up your sleeves, and get it done. It's an advantage if you have worked in retail or with service, but it's not a requirement. You speak, write, and understand Swedish. Many of our customers speak more than one language, so if you do the same, that's great!
