About the Role
As a store associate at Biltema, you are a central part of customers' experience in the store. In this role, your main focus is on the cashier, customer service, and café, where your demeanor and service orientation make a real difference in every customer interaction. Your workday is varied and characterized by a fast pace, clear procedures, and a strong customer focus.
You meet our customers at the register, assist them in customer service with questions and requests, and serve them in the café. Regardless of the task, your goal is to provide quick, friendly, and professional service. You contribute to creating a welcoming environment where customers feel seen and helped. At Biltema, no two days are the same, and we approach everyday challenges with commitment, collaboration, and a solution-oriented mindset.
This is a permanent position that begins with a 6-month probationary period. The position is part-time, 30 hours/week.
About You
You understand that the customer's time is valuable and you thrive in a role where service, demeanor, and efficiency are central. We are looking for someone who is positive, attentive, and enjoys working with people. You communicate easily, can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and remain calm even when the pace is high.
As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and see for yourself what needs to be done. You value organization and order and contribute to a safe and pleasant environment for both customers and colleagues. Great importance is placed on personal suitability, and you must be able to communicate fluently in Swedish and have basic knowledge of English.
It is advantageous if you have previous experience in cashier work, customer service, or café/restaurant operations. However, an interest in service and a willingness to learn are equally important.
